Its essential function is performed as an android to control the operation of morter headds. These androids are mainly adults of the female gender, but in very rare cases they have been created in adult male and child forms, in addition to being left in their featureless origianl form.

Since they are raised from artificial DNA material into their teens, they can be called a new humanoid life form.
